The Crab Nebula

The Crab Nebula (Messier 1) is a supernova remnant in the constellation of Taurus. It was created by a bright supernova whose light reached the Earth in 1054 C.E. and was observed by Native American, Chinese, Japanese, and Arabic stargazers.
